คำนี้เคยอ่านเจอว่า ราชบัณฑิตท่านหนึ่งเคยให้ความเห็นว่า ใช้ว่่า บิดา เฉยๆ เพราะคำที่ตามมาไม่ใช่บุคคล แต่ก็เห็นใช้เกร่อ ทาง นสพ.

สำนวนฝรั่งผมแปลเอาเองแหละ สำนวนตามรอยนี้ตอนนี้หนังสือพิมพ์ไทยชอบกันจังแฮะ แต่ผมไม่ค่อยชอบ เพราะไปนึกเทียบเคียงกับกรณี นายพรานตามรอยเท้าสัตว์ หรือ แกะรอย แต่บางที นสพ.เอาไปใช้กับปูชนียบุคคลเป็นประจำ

กรณีนี้่ ตามรอย ไม่เหมือนกับแกะรอย (tracking animal's footprints by a hunter)

I believe it is the name of the Queen's palace on the bank of Chao Phraya River, across the river to Wat Chaiwatanaram .

I am not sure how to pronounce it correctly in Thai alphabets since I got this name from Bangkok Post today. Just posted it here as reminder for myself via widget. Perhaps it is spelled as สิริยาลัย
